Riot Communications is pleased to announce that it has been retained as the PR agency for Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival in Harrogate for a third year in a row, after securing two million pounds worth of print coverage alone for last year's festival.
Co-Founder and Co-Director Preena Gadher said: "We are thrilled to continue our relationship with Theakstons. It is a much-loved festival which regularly attracts the cream of crime fiction writing. Confirmed authors for this year's festival include Jo Nesbo, Harlan Coben and Charlaine Harris, and we can't wait to get cracking on the PR campaign".
Sharon Canavar, Chief Executive of Harrogate International Festivals said: "We are passionate about crime fiction here in Harrogate, and Riot has helped communicate that passion to an increasingly wide cross section of the public. For the past two years, the value of media coverage delivered by the Riot team has broken all previous records and we are delighted to be working with them again this year."
The 2012 Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival is this year chaired by Mark Billingham and takes place between 19th - 22nd July at the Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate.
