Riot was tasked by a leading publisher to make Sapiens by unknown historian Yuval Noah Harari “the book of the decade”. Following a successful launch, we were retained to promote the next two books by Harari, with even greater client ambition.
Using our trademark combination of disruptive and strategic thinking, we designed and executed meticulous and tactical plans which included: provocative copy-writing; unorthodox imagery; superb media relations; expert talent management; and unbridled energy and passion. We unleashed a media onslaught for each book capturing the public’s attention.
We made all three books international mega bestsellers and earned Harari an army of global fans including Barack Obama, Mark Zuckerberg, Natalie Portman, Russell Brand, and Bill Gates. Sapiens alone has now sold over 10 million copies worldwide and been translated into over 50 languages.
