The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo: One of the world’s greatest immersive events

One of the world’s greatest immersive events ✨

We are proud to share that The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo has appointed Riot Communications to drive brand awareness for its productions in the UK and overseas.

Featuring music, precision performances and dance from military acts from around the world, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is rooted in Scottish tradition but global in scope.

It is most famous for its month-long Edinburgh show, which takes place on Edinburgh Castle Esplanade each August. But that is just one part of the picture: The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is also a non-profit organisation, having supported military and traditional arts charities across the UK and internationally since 1950.

Riot’s PR campaign has already begun, having just announced tickets for the 2027 Show, ‘The Same Heart Beat’. We will be working alongside Sunshine: The Social Agency and Lane Media, the Tattoo’s incumbent media agency.

Caitlin Allen, Managing Director, Riot Communications said:

“Few live events can match the scale, prestige and cultural significance of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. We’re thrilled to be working with the team on the 2027 show, drawing on our experience across charity, heritage, entertainment and brand storytelling to build anticipation, broaden reach and showcase the extraordinary experience that makes the Tattoo a global phenomenon.”
